When you are carrying everything you need for several days on the trail, comfort and load control matter. The Tatonka Yukon Series combines generous storage with a supportive, highly adjustable harness designed for demanding hikes and extended trips.

There is a Yukon pack to suit different body shapes and trip lengths, with a variety of sizing and capacity options.

Highlights

The Yukon is Tatonka's flagship pack for multi-day and overnight hiking. The V2 back system takes loads up to 35 kg and shifts the weight onto your hips, taking the strain off your shoulders. Back length adjusts to your body for a custom fit, rather than a generic size. The Yukon comes in three sizes, plus a small frame fit with a shorter back length and shoulder straps shaped for a better fit.

    Large Front Opening

    A wide, three-dimensional front opening with two-way zips provides easy access to the main compartment.

    Separate Lower Compartment

    The divided lower compartment gives you additional organisation and can be accessed from outside the pack.

    Compression Straps

    External compression straps help stabilise your load and reduce pack volume when it is not completely full.

    Elastic Side Pockets

    Stretch side pockets provide flexible storage for drink bottles, tent poles and other trail essentials.

    Removable Lid

    The lid can be removed from the pack and used separately as a front pouch or shoulder bag.

Durable Cordura® Base

The base of the Yukon is made from highly tear-resistant Cordura® and constructed without bottom seams for enhanced element proofing. The reinforced material extends up the sides of the pack, helping protect your gear from wet ground and rough surfaces. Wraparound compression straps can also be used to secure additional equipment, such as a sleeping mat, to the outside of the pack.

Easy to Lift and Move

The Yukon includes both side and front carry handles, making it easier to lift, load or move when fully packed. This is particularly useful when placing the pack into a vehicle, onto public transport or into storage.

Integrated Rain Cover

The included rain cover helps shield the pack and its contents from rain and trail moisture.

It is stored securely in the lid pocket and is included with Yukon backpacks, excluding selected X1 Recco models.

Removable Multi-Use Lid

The Yukon’s lid can be completely removed from the main pack to create versatile carrying options to suit the mission. Attach it to the shoulder straps to use it as a front pouch, convert it into a compact shoulder bag using the existing lid strap, or secure it as a waist bag for hands-free adventure. It is a practical option for carrying valuables, snacks, travel documents or small essentials when you do not need the full backpack.
